The requirements are the same across Oklahoma. Adults 18 and up need valid ID and nothing else. No blood test. No residency requirement. You do not have to live in Grady County or anywhere in Oklahoma to get your marriage license here.
Minors aged 16 or 17 can apply but the rules get tighter. One parent or legal guardian must be present to give consent. The minor needs a birth certificate and a photo ID. Under Oklahoma law, no one younger than 16 can get a marriage license except through a special court order backed by a physician's letter. If either person was recently divorced in Oklahoma, they must wait six months before applying for a new marriage license. That rule does not count if you are remarrying the same former spouse.
